Whether you're belaying on a low-angle slab, using skinny ropes, or handling a heavier climber, the SBGII offers optimal control.

Characteristics

Adjustable Friction: The SBGII allows you to adjust the friction level based on your specific needs. For more friction, use the V-Slots, and for less friction, use the U-Grooves.

Rigid Stem: Provides a smooth transition from full lock-off to rapid rope release, eliminating binding and ensuring fast, efficient operation.

Versatile Rope Management: The device is ideal for both rappel and belaying, and works well with skinny ropes or fat ropes for various climbing and rappelling scenarios.

Enhanced Control for Skinny Ropes: When rappelling on skinny ropes (8mm or 9mm), the SBGII provides enhanced control by wrapping the rope around the rigid stem, similar to using a figure-8 device.
