Recertification intervals depend on the model and certification class of the unit. Most modern Perfect Descent Auto Belays require periodic recertification every 12 months.

A recertification service typically includes:

• Comprehensive inspection
• Functional testing
• Internal servicing
• Load testing
• Safety verification
• Issuance of recertification documentation (where applicable)

Replacement parts are not included in the recertification fee and will be quoted separately if required.

The typical turnaround time is approximately 5 – 10 business days from receipt of the unit. Additional repairs, replacement parts, or customer approval delays may extend the service timeline.

Perfect Descent recommends periodic replacement of the lanyard assembly as part of routine maintenance. The replacement interval may vary depending on usage, wear, and manufacturer recommendations.

The standard manufacturer’s warranty for Perfect Descent Auto Belay units is typically 12 months from the date of purchase or installation, unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer or distributor agreement.

Warranty coverage remains valid only when the unit is used, inspected, and maintained in accordance with Perfect Descent’s operating and service requirements. Extended warranties, if applicable, must be confirmed at the time of purchase.
