Exchange & Refund Policy

We aim to ensure a 100% satisfactory shopping experience. However, we do not provide any refunds. If you are not entirely pleased with your purchase, we offer exchanges under the following conditions.

To be eligible for an exchange, items must be returned within 7 working days of purchase/collection and must be in perfect selling condition, including:

  • Original manufacturer packaging
  • All original tags and labels attached
  • Original receipt, email or proof of purchase

Items that are not in sellable condition due to being worn, used, or damaged will not be accepted for exchange or return.

 


Safety Equipment

Load-bearing safety equipment, including but not limited to carabiners, belay devices, harnesses, ropes, and slings, are strictly non-exchangeable and non-returnable.

This is due to safety and quality assurance reasons. Once these items leave our store, we cannot verify whether they have been:

  • Used or subjected to load/impact
  • Exposed to wear, abrasion, or damage
  • Compromised in a way that may not be visually detectable

For climbing safety, even minor use or stress can affect performance and safety integrity. As such, all sales of safety equipment are final to ensure the highest safety standards for all customers.

 


Clearance Items

Items sold under the “Sale” category are not eligible for returns or exchanges, unless the product has a previously undisclosed defect.

Products sold at a reduced price due to known defects are also strictly non-returnable and non-exchangeable.

 


Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Please ensure you obtain tracking information, as you are responsible for the parcel until it is received by us.

We will cover the shipping costs for sending the exchanged item(s) back to you.

 


Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds for change of mind, incorrect sizing, or general dissatisfaction for items that are otherwise in acceptable condition.

Refunds are only applicable under the following circumstances:

  • The product is defective upon arrival
  • The product was damaged prior to delivery

All refund requests must be submitted within 7 working days of receiving the item and are subject to assessment and approval.

If you have selected delivery and shipping has already been arranged, we are unable to process cancellations or refunds.


Cancellations & Same-Day Refund Requests

We accept cancellations and refunds on the same day of the order in the following situations:

  • Wrong or duplicate order was placed
  • Discount code was not applied at checkout
  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery address was provided

Requests made after the same day of purchase will not be eligible for cancellation or refund.

If you have selected delivery and shipping has already been arranged, we are unable to process cancellations or refunds.

Key Tag Terms & Conditions

Account Registration & Tag Verification

To secure your discount at Crank Factory using your Climb Central credentials, please follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your Climb Central account to retrieve your account ID.
  2. Log in to Crank Factory, go to Registration, and complete the process by entering your Climb Central account ID in the designated field.
  3. For Orange and White Pass holders, go to your profile page and enter your membership ID in the designated field.

Eligibility

This discount is available only to verified Climb Central members.


Discount Application

Once your Climb Central tag or pass is verified, the ClimbCentral10 discount will be applied automatically at checkout. You will see “ClimbCentral10” reflected in your order summary—no manual code entry is required.


Exclusions

This discount cannot be applied to:

  • Sale or promotional items
  • Clearance stock
  • Casual technical bottoms
  • Black Diamond products
  • Petzl products
  • Rab apparel
  • Other explicitly excluded items

If your cart contains both discounted and regular-price items, the discount will only apply to eligible items.

Discounted purchases are subject to Crank Factory’s standard return and exchange policy.

Pickup Information

Prefer to collect your order yourself? No problem!

  • Select the “In-Store Pickup” option at checkout.

  • Orders are typically ready for pickup within 1 to 5 business days.

  • We’ll notify you via email once your order is ready.

  • Pickup location: Crank Factory

Please bring your order confirmation and valid ID when picking up.


Self Collection Terms

  • Customers will be notified once the order is ready for collection.
  • Orders must be collected within 30 days from the date of notification.

If the order is not collected within this period:

  • The order may be considered abandoned
  • We reserve the right to cancel the order without prior notice
  • All payments made are non-refundable
  • Items may be returned to inventory for resale

If you require more time, please contact us in advance to arrange an extension.
Extensions are granted at our discretion.

We are not responsible for any damage, loss, or changes in product condition for items left uncollected beyond the stated period.

Local Delivery

We offer reliable local delivery service for customers within Singapore.

  • Shipping fee: $4.99 for orders below $150

  • Shipping fee: $1.99 for orders $150 and above

  • Delivery timeframe: 3 to 7 business days after order processing

  • You will receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order ships.

International Shipping

We ship worldwide!

Please contact us before placing your international order at hello@crankfactory.com to confirm shipping charges and provide necessary customs information (such as tax ID or other documents).

Important:

  • Shipping time depends on your country and customs clearance.

  • Additional customs duties, taxes, or fees may apply upon arrival and are your responsibility.

  • Once shipped, you’ll receive a tracking link to monitor your package.


Delivery Terms

Missed Deliveries

Perfect Descent Warranty

Climb Asia is an authorized dealer and service support provider for Perfect Descent Auto Belays, manufactured by C3 Manufacturing LLC. As such, we are authorized to assist customers in Singapore and the region with warranty-related matters, inspections, and coordination of repairs or replacements.

Manufacturer’s Warranty Overview

C3 Manufacturing LLC warrants that all Perfect Descent units are free from mechanical defects and faulty workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the original date of purchase, provided they are maintained and used in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines.

  • Repair parts and service work are warranted for ninety (90) days from the date of repair or from the date of sale of the replacement part, whichever comes first.

  • This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is void if repairs or modifications are performed by unauthorized personnel, or if misuse or improper operation is evident.

Support Through Climb Asia

As an authorized dealer, Climb Asia offers:

  • Warranty pre-checks: Inspection and preliminary evaluation of units for warranty eligibility.

  • Documentation support: Assistance with warranty paperwork and claim submission to C3 Manufacturing LLC.

  • Local coordination: Facilitation of unit shipment, repair, or replacement, with reduced turnaround time.

  • Communication: Acting as the liaison between customer and manufacturer.

Customers may bring their units to Climb Asia for inspection and servicing. Any service performed under warranty must be authorized by C3 Manufacturing LLC in advance.

Customer Responsibilities

The following are considered normal wear and tear and are not covered under warranty:

  • Regular maintenance, inspection, and cleaning.

  • Replacement of consumable parts (lanyards, carabiners, nozzles, brakes, etc.).

  • Damage due to misuse, abuse, or unauthorized modifications.

  1. Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt).

  2. Serial number of the unit.

  3. Description of the issue or defect.

  4. Photos or video where applicable.
